Mission:
The Citizens Advisory Committee on Corrections works to enable the Department of Corrections to operate at the highest professional level and to provide inmates of correctional institutions with an objective and impartial source for the resolution of grievances and concerns.
Function:
The Citizens Advisory Committee on Corrections considers offender grievances referred to the Director of the Department of Corrections and makes recommendations to the Director for resolution of these grievances as specified in the Department's Offender Grievance Procedure.
