Mission:
To protect the citizens of the state through the licensing of clinical perfusionists, assessing their competence to practice and their moral character. It is also the Commission's duty to investigate all complaints against its licensees in a fair and equitable manner.
Function:
To assist the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts in the licensing and regulation of clinical perfusionists in the State of Missouri.

Compensation: Each member of the Commission shall receive as compensation an amount not to exceed seventy dollars per day for Commission business plus actual and necessary expenses.
Member Requirements: The Advisory Commission shall consist of five perfusionist members and two public members. The non-public commission members shall be residents of the State of Missouri for at least one year, shall be United States citizens and shall be licensed as a Clinical Perfusionist in the State of Missouri. The public members shall be a citizen of the United States, resident of the state for a period of at least one year and registered voters; persons who are and never were members of any profession licensed or regulated pursuant to Chapters 324.125 to 324.183 or the spouse of such person; persons who do not have and never have had a material, financial interest in either the provisions of the professional services of clinical perfusionists or an activity or organization directly related to any profession licensed or regulated by Chapters 324.125 to 324.183.
