General John J. Pershing Boyhood Home State Historic Site: Laclede

June 3, 2008 - Governor Blunt, First Lady Melanie Blunt, and William Branch tour the boyhood home of General John J. "Black Jack" Pershing. General Pershing spent most of his formative years in Laclede. He was born on September 13, 1860, and moved into the Gothic nine-room house in Laclede with his family at age six.
