Jefferson City, MO

Gov. Jay Nixon today named Erin Burlison-Huss, of O'Fallon, to serve as an Associate Circuit Judge for St. Charles County. Burlison will fill the vacancy created by the appointment of former Associate Circuit Judge Timothy A. Lohmar to serve as St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney.

Burlison-Huss is an attorney in private practice with the O'Fallon law firm of Lohmar, Staebell & Burlison Law Firm LLC. She earned her law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law, and her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri. Burlison-Huss has served on the board of the Boys & Girls Club of St. Charles County.

"I am pleased to name Erin Burlison-Huss to serve on the bench of one of the state's largest counties, and I am confident she will be an able jurist for this circuit," Gov. Nixon said.
