Gov. Nixon sets Nov. 8 as date for special elections to fill four vacant Missouri House seats

Gov. Jay Nixon has set Nov. 8, 2011, as the date for special elections to fill seats for the 15th (St. Charles County), 39th(Kansas City), 41st (Kansas City) and 83rd (St. Louis County) districts in the Missouri House of Representatives.

Those seats became vacant upon the resignations of state Rep. Sally Faith (15th); state Rep. Jean Peters-Baker (39th); state Rep. Shalonn "Kiki" Curls (41st); and state Rep. Jake Zimmerman (83rd).
