Governor-elect Jay Nixon Announces Online Application for State Employment

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Governor-elect Jay Nixon today announced that Missourians can now apply online for state government positions at: http://www.govelect.mo.gov/

“I am committed to building an inclusive team of Missourians from all backgrounds and regions to lead our state in a new direction,” Governor-elect Nixon said. “There’s a great deal of honor in public service, and we need the best and brightest minds across Missouri to step forward and apply for these important positions. Over the coming weeks, I will work closely with my transition team to search the state and find the best leaders to move our state forward.”
