Gov. Nixon appoints longtime Bollinger County resident as circuit clerk
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Gov. Jay Nixon today appointed Nicholas (Nick) B. Bollinger, of Marble Hill, to the position of Bollinger County circuit clerk. Bollinger, age 50, replaces Sharon Lutes, who resigned from the circuit clerk position in September.
Bollinger is a self-employed bricklayer and a member of Bricklayers Local 23. He was a candidate for Bollinger County collector in 1994. A lifelong resident of the county, Bollinger and his wife have two children.
"Nick Bollinger is well-known to the people of Bollinger County, and I am confident he will serve them ably as their new circuit clerk," Gov. Nixon said.
