Citizen-Soldiers of the Missouri National Guard's 935th Aviation Support Battalion heard Gov. Nixon address them and their families at a deployment ceremony held in Springfield on June 6. The Governor talked about the historical significance of that date, the anniversary of the D-Day invasion, and let them know they had the support of the people of Missouri. The unit, which helps maintain aircraft and vehicles, will deployed to Kuwait until next spring.
