Gov. Nixon vetoes Senate Bill 188
Missouri Governor Jay Nixon vetoed Senate Bill 188 on the steps of the Old Courthouse in St. Louis on April 29, saying it undermine the Missouri Human Rights Act, "rolling back decades of progress in protecting civil rights".
