Gov. Nixon visits Wentzville GM plant

Governor Jay Nixon checks out a tire on a van chassis during a visit at the General Motors Assembly Plant in Wentzville, Missouri on November 3, 2011.  Nixon was on hand for the announcement that General Motors will spend $380 Million on the facility to make the completely redesigned, mid-size Colorado pickup truck that will create at least 1,260 jobs. In addition, the company will begin a second shift of 400 workers on production of its current products, the Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans.download
