Gov. Nixon honors Missourians who fought and died defending freedom in Korean War

Gov. Jay Nixon honored the Missourians who fought and died during the Korean War by laying a wreath at the Missouri section of the Hall of Heroes at the Korean War Memorial in Seoul.  The Governor and the First Lady were accompanied by and met with soldiers of the Missouri National Guard.  More than 900 Missourians died during the conflict, which ended with a cease-fire in July 1953.download
