ON BACKGROUND: Governor's Office to Host Informational Briefing on Phase 1B Vaccine Activation
On Thursday, January 14 at 12:00 p.m., the Governor's Office will host an informational briefing for members of the media only to provide details on the activation of Phase 1B of Missouri's COVID-19 Vaccination Plan.
Several members of Governor Mike Parson's COVID-19 vaccine distribution team will be in attendance, including Governor's Office Deputy Chief of Staff Robert Knodell, Governor's Office Director of Management Initiatives Sean Christansen, Department of Economic Development Director Rob Dixon, Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) Director Dr. Randall Williams, DHSS Division of Community & Public Health Director Adam Crumbliss, and Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Communications Director Mallory McGowin.
Governor Parson will not be in attendance. Only questions regarding Missouri's COVID-19 Vaccination Plan will be taken. Live coverage of this briefing will not be permitted.
