Governor Parson's Schedule for June 27 - July 1, 2022

Next week, Governor Mike Parson will kickoff a months-long tour across the state where he will champion 2022 Legislative Wins, promote existing opportunities for Missourians, and learn where state government can do better. The first two weeks of Governor Parson's tour will focus on Public Safety and Veterans. 

On Monday, June 27, Governor Parson will visit the Transition Center of Kansas City to participate in the Missouri Chamber of Commerce's press conference announcing its Safer Missouri, Stronger Missouri plan. He will then visit the Kansas City Police Department Head Quarters to discuss public safety wins in Missouri and sign SB 678. Governor Parson will end the day by speaking at the National Sheriffs Association Annual Convention. 

On Tuesday, June 28, Governor Parson will help kickoff Class 9 of the Missouri Office of Administration's Leadership Academy. In the afternoon, he will travel to St. Louis for the “In the Streets” event with the Urban League of  Metropolitan St. Louis to discuss public safety. He will finish the afternoon by again joining the Missouri Chamber for a press conference on its Safer Missouri, Stronger Missouri plan. 

On Thursday, June 30, Governor Parson will announce details regarding the new State Crime and Health Lab in Jefferson City. He will also take action on several pieces of legislation, including the Fiscal Year 2023 state operating budget. 

An additional media advisory will be sent next week with more information regarding bills being signed and signing ceremonies open to the media. 

On Friday, July 1, Governor Parson will attend the Helping a Hero Program in Branson.
