Governor Parson's Schedule for June 7-9, 2021
Next week, Governor Mike Parson will attend various meetings and events across the state as well as sign priority legislation.
On Monday, June 7, Governor Parson will travel to Branson to speak at the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) State of the State Luncheon, meet with Branson Mayor Larry Milton and local business leaders, and speak at Elevate Branson's affordable housing development project announcement. Governor Parson will return to the State Capitol to sign SB 63, creating a statewide prescription drug monitoring program in Missouri.
On Tuesday, June 8, Governor Parson will attend the Division of Professional Registration's Employee Appreciation BBQ to thank state workers, and he will also present a proclamation recognizing Dairy Month in Missouri to a group of Missouri dairy farmers in his office.
On Wednesday, June 9, Governor Parson will attend the ribbon cutting event for Frozen Food Express Transportation Services in Butler and speak during the opening ceremonies of the 2021 American Junior Simmental Association (AJSA) South Central Regional Junior Cattle Show in Springfield.
Additional events and bill signing ceremonies for Thursday, June 10 will be announced early next week.
