Governor Parson's Schedule for October 17 - 21, 2022
Next week, Governor Mike Parson will attend various meetings and events across the state and continue his visits to Missouri school districts to highlight historic support for education and workforce development.
On Monday, October 17, Governor Parson will speak at the Missouri Teacher of the Year Banquet hosted by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
On Tuesday, October 18, Governor Parson will participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new pedestrian and bicycle trail at Thousand Hills State Park in Kirksville. He and First Lady Parson will also host the JAG-Missouri Board at the Governor's Mansion for lunch.
On Wednesday, October 19, Governor Parson will travel to the Kansas City area to visit Northland Career Center, present a Blue Ribbon proclamation to EPiC Elementary School, visit the University of Missouri–Kansas City's Health Sciences District, and present a Blue Ribbon proclamation to Chapel Lakes Elementary School. He will then return to central Missouri to speak at the grand opening of the new Columbia Regional Airport terminal.
On Thursday, October 20, Governor Parson will participate in an economic development press conference announcing a new business investment in Crystal City. He will also speak at the Associated Industries of Missouri's Tax, Manufacturing, and Business Conference in Jefferson City.
