Governor Parson to Host Eight Events Focusing on Missouri’s Healthcare Needs
During the first week of December, Governor Parson and Cabinet Officials from DHSS, DSS, DMH, MVC, DED, and MO Health Net will travel the state discussing and addressing Missouri’s Healthcare needs. In order to better understand and find innovative solutions to some of our most serious healthcare challenges, Governor Parson will focus on the following issues: Rural Healthcare, Combating the Opioid Crisis, Behavioral Health-Telehealth, Maternal and Infant Care in Urban Missouri, Caring for our Veterans, and will also announce a Medicaid Fraud and Abuse Task Force.
