Gov. Greitens Appoints Member to the Kansas City Board of Police Commissioners

Gov. Eric R. Greitens today appointed former police officer Nathan Garrett, of Kansas City, as a member of the Kansas City Board of Police Commissioners. Garrett will be the successor of Alvin Brooks.

Garrett is an attorney at Graves Garrett. He previously worked as a Missouri State Highway Patrol State Trooper, Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Assistant United States Attorney for the United States Department of Justice. Garrett holds a bachelor’s degree in history and philosophy from Cornell College and a law degree from Tulsa University.
