Gov. Greitens orders flags to half-staff in Lafayette County on Monday to honor firefighter who died in line of duty

Gov. Eric Greitens has ordered that the flags of the United States and the State of Missouri at all state government buildings in Lafayette County be flown at half-staff on Monday (June 26) in honor of Firefighter Jeffery M. Sanders, of the Mayview Fire Protection District. Firefighter Sanders, age 55, died on June 19 while serving the citizens of the Mayview Fire Protection District. 

Under Gov. Greitens’ order, U.S. and Missouri flags at state buildings in Lafayette County will fly at half-staff from sunrise until sunset on June 26, 2017, the day the funeral services for Firefighter Sanders will take place.
