Governor Eric Greitens has appointed Lynne R. Perkins, of St. Louis, as Associate Circuit Court Judge for the 22nd Judicial Circuit, which covers the City of St. Louis.  He will replace Judge Theresa Counts Burke, whom Governor Greitens appointed as Circuit Court Judge earlier this year.

For twenty years, Lynne Perkins honorably served in the United States Air Force.  After concluding his military service, he graduated from the Washington University School of Law and served as a public defender.  Throughout his career, Perkins represented thousands of clients throughout all phases of litigation.  He has tried 40 jury trials to conclusion.

A lifelong resident of St. Louis, Perkins is currently the principal attorney of his law firm, the Law Office of Lynne R. Perkins.  He is a member of the Friendly Temple Missionary Baptist Church.

“Lynne Perkins is a veteran, dedicated member of the St. Louis community, and an experienced practitioner, all of which uniquely qualify him to serve as judge,” said Governor Greitens.  “His temperament and work ethic will serve St. Louis City’s Associate Circuit Court well.”
