Today, Governor Mike Parson appointed Holly Conger-Koenig as Associate Circuit Judge for the 1st Judicial Circuit.

The state of Missouri has been awarded five StateScoop 50 Awards, which celebrate the outstanding achievements of states to make a positive impact in the government information technology (IT) community and public service. Missouri is the only state to receive five government-related StateScoop 50 Awards, the most of all awarded states.
Governor Mike Parson has signed Executive Order 20-16 extending the mobilization of the Missouri National Guard through December 30, 2020. This will allow the National Guard to continue assisting in the state’s COVID-19 response efforts.
Today, Governor Mike Parson signed Executive Order 20-15 creating the Interagency Task Force on Worker Classification between the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, Department of Revenue, Department of Commerce and Insurance, and the Attorney General to promote the proper classification of Missouri workers and create a more prosperous economy.

Governor Parson is a veteran who served six years in the U.S. Army. He served more than 22 years in law enforcement as the sheriff of Polk County. He also served in the Missouri House of Representatives from 2005-2011, in the Missouri Senate from 2011-2017, and as Lieutenant Governor in 2017-2018.
Governor Parson and First Lady Teresa live in Bolivar. Together they have two grown children and six grandchildren. He was raised on a farm in Hickory County and graduated from Wheatland High School in Wheatland, Missouri. He is a small business owner and a third generation farmer who currently owns and operates a cow and calf operation near their hometown of Bolivar. Governor Parson has a passion for sports, agriculture, Christ, and people.
