Today, Governor Mike Kehoe signed five pieces of legislation into law: Senate Bills (SB) 28 and 396, and House Bills (HB) 105, 169, and 974.

"Today, we were proud to sign five bills that will benefit businesses and local governments across our state," said Governor Kehoe. "Thank you to the men and women of the General Assembly for sending many pieces of quality legislation to my desk this session. We look forward to signing even more legislation that improves the lives of Missourians next week."

Today, Governor Mike Kehoe shared the following updates on the State of Missouri’s support for communities recovering from the severe weather and flooding that has affected much of the state in 2025.  

Blue Shield counties, cities, and towns will be eligible on July 1 to apply for funding for training, equipment, and technology grants from $10 million state appropriation
Issues Vetoes and Expenditure Restrictions to Protect Taxpayers and Preserve Fiscal Responsibility

Governor Kehoe served four-and-a-half years on the Missouri Highway & Transportation Commission. He also served in the Missouri Senate, where he worked to balance budgets, fully fund schools, and champion laws protecting Missouri’s children and seniors. As Senate Majority Floor Leader, he advocated for reducing regulatory burdens, cutting taxes, and creating jobs.

Throughout his term as Missouri’s 47th Lieutenant Governor, Governor Kehoe highlighted Missouri’s businesses, agriculture, and tourism while serving as a voice for veterans and seniors.

As a first generation-farmer and passionate champion of Missouri agriculture, Governor Kehoe owns and operates a 700-acre cattle farm in Phelps and Pulaski counties with his wife, Claudia. The Kehoes are proud parents of four adult children and are thrilled to embrace their new role as grandparents.
