Governor Parson to Unveil Official Portrait During Hall of Governors Exhibit Grand Opening

On Friday, December 6 at 3 p.m., Governor Mike Parson and First Lady Teresa Parson will unveil Governor Parson's official portrait, commemorating his tenure as Missouri's 57th Governor. The unveiling of the Governor's portrait will coincide with the grand opening and ribbon cutting event for the new Hall of Governors exhibit in the State Capitol.

The new Hall of Governors exhibit will honor Missouri's 57 Governors and four territorial Governors and showcase their official portraits. Future Missouri Governors' portraits will also be added to the exhibit. The Hall of Governors will be located in both North/South running corridors adjacent to the first floor rotunda in the State Capitol.

Governor Parson will unveil his official portrait prior to it being placed in the Hall of Governors. The Hall of Governors ribbon cutting event will occur immediately after the portrait unveiling. All living former Missouri Governors who have commissioned and gifted official portraits to the State of Missouri have been invited to attend.

Former Governors, their chiefs of staff, and other select dignitaries have been invited to a VIP reception to be held in the Governor's Office (Room 216) upon the event's conclusion. This is an invitation-only event, but media are invited to attend for the first 15 minutes. Media details are below.
