Governor Parson's Schedule for April 29 - May 4, 2024
Next week, Governor Mike Parson will attend several meetings and events.
On Monday, April 29, Governor and First Lady Parson will host legislators and their families at the Governor's Mansion for the final Legislative Barbeque of their administration.
On Tuesday, April 30, Governor Parson will travel to Kansas City to attend Americold Logistics Inc's groundbreaking ceremony for its new cold storage facility. He will then travel to St. Louis to attend a "fireside chat" focused on his administration's accomplishments with Ken Cella, head of external affairs for Edward Jones Investments, hosted by Greater St. Louis Inc. Following the "fireside chat," Governor Parson will hold a signing of his book, No Turnin' Back, on Greater St. Louis Inc's campus.
Later, Governor Parson will attend Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis Inc's ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new Urban Farming Project. Following the ribbon-cutting, Governor Parson will hold an additional signing of his book, No Turnin' Back, on Urban League's campus. He will end the day touring the Geospatial Advanced Technology Lab at the University of Missouri–St. Louis.
On Wednesday, May 1, Governor Parson will host a meet and greet with the 2023 Bowling Green Class 3 State Champion Track and Field team in his office.
On Thursday, May 2, Governor Parson will travel to Springfield to tour and hold a signing of No Turnin' Back with Bass Pro Shops Founder and CEO, Johnny Morris, and his team. at Bass Pro Shop's Base Camp. He will then tour Convoy of Hope's campus and hold a book signing. Governor Parson will then travel to Nixa to hold a book signing at the Christian County Library–Nixa before returning to Springfield to attend the grand opening of 27North Inc's new Springfield headquarters.
On Saturday, May 4, Governor Parson will attend Missouri Beef Day's Boots and Bling event in Bolivar and present a proclamation proclaiming May 2024 to be Beef Month in Missouri.
