Governor Parson's Schedule for April 8 - 13, 2024
Next week, Governor Mike Parson will attend several meetings and events.
On Monday, April 8, As part of Month of the Military Child celebrations, Governor Parson will travel to Whiteman Air Force Base to visit military families and thank them for their service and sacrifice. He will then travel to Warrensburg for a tour of the University of Central Missouri's capital improvement projects before holding a signing of his book No Turnin' Back.
On Tuesday, April 9, Governor and First Lady Parson will welcome the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints' youth leaders to the Governor's Mansion. Governor Parson will then host a meeting with the Bolivar School District's superintendent and school board members in his office.
Later, Governor Parson will speak to high school students from the General Federation of Women's Clubs of Missouri as part of its 89th Sophomore Pilgrimage at the First United Methodist Church before returning to his office to host meet and greets with the Lee's Summit Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Lee's Summit class and the Northland Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Northland class.
Governor Parson will end the day at the Missouri State Fair Foundation's Inaugural Recognition of the 1901 Society.
On Wednesday, April 10, Governor and First Lady Parson will host Missouri FFA students and FFA Foundation members at the Governor's Mansion. He will then return to his office to host a meet and greet with the East Prairie High School Varsity Cheerleading Squad, the Missouri class 2A state champions. Governor Parson will then travel to California for a signing of his book No Turnin' Back.
On Thursday, April 11, Governor Parson will travel to Kansas City to participate in No Turnin' Back book signings, first at Metropolitan Community College's Maple Woods Campus and then at the Northland Chamber of Commerce's social hour. He will end the day attending the Kit Bond Citizen Leadership Award dinner.
On Saturday, April 13, Governor Parson will hold signings of his book No Turnin' Back in Hermitage and Wheatland, his hometown.
