Governor Parson's Schedule for February 1 - 4, 2022
This week, Governor Mike Parson will participate in meetings at the State Capitol and attend various meetings and events across the state, including roundtable discussions in Kirksville and St. Louis to share his proposed investments in workforce and higher education and hear from local education, business, and community leaders.
On Tuesday, February 1, Governor Parson will speak at the Great Northwest Days Legislative Luncheon and hold a workforce and higher education roundtable discussion with leaders from the Kirksville community, Truman State University, and North Central Missouri College.
On Friday, February 4, Governor Parson will participate in a press conference with representatives from McDonald's Corporation and Western Governors University (WGU) as they sign a new education and workforce partnership in St. Louis.
He will then hold a workforce and higher education roundtable discussion with leaders from the St. Louis community, St. Louis Community College, St. Charles Community College, Jefferson College, University of Missouri–St. Louis, and Harris-Stowe University. Following the roundtable, he will tour a COVID-19 testing center at St. Louis Community College–Forest Park.
