Governor Parson's Schedule for July 8-12, 2024
Next week, Governor Mike Parson will hold several bill signings and attend meetings and events across the state.
On Monday, July 8, Governor Parson will participate in a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Polk County 9-1-1 Dispatch Center in Bolivar. He will then travel to Kansas City to attend an outreach event with the Hawthorn Foundation. Governor Parson will then hold meetings in Kansas City with Mayor Quinton Lucas and several community leaders from Clay and Jackson counties to discuss options to keep the Chiefs and Royals in Missouri. Governor Parson will conclude his day in Kansas City by holding a signing of Senate Bill (SB) 1388 at the KC NExT Project construction site.
On Tuesday, July 9, Governor Parson will host several bill signings in his office at the Capitol. In the morning he will sign House Bill (HB) 2057, SB 894, SB 756, and SB 754. In the afternoon he will sign HB 1912, SB 872, HB 2134/1956, HB 2062 and SB 895. The run-of-show will be in the order listed.
On Wednesday, July 10, Governor Parson will host a meet and greet in his office with Mexico High School's Academic Team to congratulate them on their recent success at the Pace National Scholastic Championship.
On Thursday, July 11, Governor Parson will hold additional bill signings. More information will be provided next week.
