Governor Parson's Schedule for October 4 - 8, 2022
Next week, Governor Mike Parson will attend various meetings and events across the state and continue his visits to Missouri school districts to highlight historic support for education and workforce development.
On Tuesday, October 4, Governor Parson will present a proclamation recognizing National Principals Month to members of the Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals (MoASSP) and Missouri Council of Career and Technical Administrators (MCCTA). He will then speak during the graduation ceremony for the Missouri Department of Conservation's 2022 Conservation Agent Training Course and help kick off the Office of Broadband's public engagement campaign.
On Wednesday, October 5, Governor Parson will visit the Cole County R-V school district and Blair Oaks Elementary School, a Blue Ribbon school.
On Thursday, October 6, Governor Parson will speak at the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives' (AMEC) annual membership meeting in Branson. He will then travel to Joplin to visit the Crowder College Training Center, tour the Joplin High School – Franklin Tech Center, and visit Eugene Field Elementary School, a Blue Ribbon school.
He will end the day by participating in the ground breaking ceremony for the new Kansas City Current Stadium.
On Friday, October 7, Governor Parson will speak at a law enforcement officer banquet for officers and their spouses in Springfield.
