Governor Parson's Schedule for September 9-14, 2024
Next week, Governor Mike Parson will attend several meetings and events.
On Monday, September 9, Governor Parson will participate in the Missouri Department of Revenue's annual Missouri License Office Conference. He will then present a proclamation to the Missouri Developmental Disabilities Council proclaiming September 9-13, 2024, to be Disability Voting Rights Week and to the Toys for Tots Foundation proclaiming October 1, 2024, to be Toys for Tots Day. Governor Parson will end the day at the Missouri Times 30 under 30 event in Jefferson City.
On Tuesday, September 10, Governor Parson will host a meet and greet with the Missouri Department of Economic Development's Foreign Office Directors to thank them for their work in promoting Missouri overseas and during his trade missions. He will then join First Lady Teresa Parson to host a Wild Game Dinner featuring Billy Yates, Ruby Leigh, and Jacob Smalley and Morgan County Line to benefit the Moving Missouri Forward Foundation at the Governor's Mansion.
On Wednesday, September 11, Governor Parson will host a meet and greet with Susanne Mitko, a Lee's Summit teacher who was selected to be a member of the 2024 C-SPAN Teacher Fellowship Program, a prestigious fellowship that accepts five awardees around the country per year. He will then give a tour of the Governor's Office to House and Senate Doormen.
On Thursday, September 12, Governor Parson will participate in the Missouri Public Safety Awards Ceremony.
On Saturday, September 14, Governor Parson will attend Southwest Electric Co-op's 85th Annual Meeting in Bolivar. He will then travel to Springfield to attend the 64th Annual Greene County TARGET BBQ.
