Jefferson City — Today, Governor Mike Parson signed Executive Order 23-09 closing state offices on Friday, November 24, 2022, the day after the Thanksgiving Day holiday.
"The First Lady and I are looking forward to spending the holidays with our family back home on our farm in Bolivar, especially as we recently welcomed our first great-grandchild," Governor Parson said. "Friends, family, and the next generations are what it's all about. We hope this well-earned day off allows state team members to spend more time with their loved ones and reflect on all that they do in service to our state. Thanks to the work they do each and every day, our economy is strong, our state is strong, and Missourians are strong. From our families to yours, Happy Thanksgiving!"
