Today, Governor Mike Kehoe announced a judicial appointment to the 11th Judicial Circuit.
Robert Cornejo, of St. Peters, was appointed as Circuit Judge for St. Charles County in the 11th Judicial Circuit.
Mr. Cornejo previously served as an associate circuit judge in the 11th Judicial Circuit before returning to private practice at Robert Cornejo Law LLC. He has a long history of public service, formerly serving in the Missouri House of Representatives for District 64. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri School of Law and holds dual degrees in political science and international business from Washington University in St. Louis. Cornejo will fill the vacancy created by the removal of Judge Matthew Thornhill.
