Today, Governor Mike Kehoe announced a judicial appointment to the 16th Judicial Circuit.
Patricia Marie “Tricia” Scaglia, of Kansas City, was appointed as Associate Circuit Judge for Jackson County in the 16th Judicial Circuit.
Ms. Scaglia is the owner of Scaglia Law Firm, LLC in Independence. She previously served as an associate at Campbell and Simpkins, LLC. She is an active member of her community, serving as a member of the Heart of Westport Neighborhood Association, Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, and the Greater KC Local Investment Commission (LINC). Scaglia earned her Bachelor of Journalism in Broadcast News and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Missouri—Columbia, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri—Kansas City. Scaglia will fill the vacancy created by the appointment of Judge John Gromowsky as Circuit Judge in the 16th Judicial Circuit.
