Governor Kehoe Announces Appointment to Missouri Ethics Commission

Today, Governor Mike Kehoe announced a gubernatorial appointment to the Missouri Ethics Commission, returning a quorum to the commission.

Clem Smith, of St. Louis, was appointed to the Missouri Ethics Commission.

Mr. Smith previously worked as an aircraft assembly mechanic for Boeing before transitioning to the Phillips 66 Company, where he serves as a refinery operator. He has served in several government and civic leadership roles, including as a state representative for Missouri's 85th District. He currently serves as a director of the Hazelwood School District Board of Education, secretary of the Uplift Foundation of Greater St. Louis, and a unit committeeman with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 399. Smith earned a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies from Columbia College and a certificate in industrial skills training from St. Louis Community College.
