Today, Governor Mike Kehoe announced four gubernatorial appointments to various boards and commissions.
Cher Caudel, of California, was appointed to the Missouri Family Trust Board of Trustees.
Ms. Caudel has served as the Moniteau County public administrator for nearly two decades. She remains active in her community as a member and former president of the Missouri Association of Public Administrators and as a member of the M & M CIT Council. She also previously served on the State Advisory Council for the Department of Mental Health. Caudel is a graduate of California High School.
Christopher Lievsay, of Blue Springs, was appointed to the Missouri Workforce Development Board.
Mayor Lievsay served on the Blue Springs City Council for more than a decade before being elected mayor of Blue Springs. He holds an associate degree from Metropolitan Community College, a bachelor's degree in business administration and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia College, a master's degree in education from Western Governors University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.
Jessica Rooks, of Kirksville, was appointed to the Missouri Family Trust Board of Trustees.
Ms. Rooks is the owner of The Rooks Law Firm, LLC. She previously served as general counsel for the 1st Judicial Circuit Juvenile Office. Rooks is a member of the Kirksville Area Chamber of Commerce, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the Missouri Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Truman State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri School of Law.
Douglas Schulte, of Platte City, was appointed to the Dam and Reservoir Safety Council.
Mr. Schulte previously served as a project engineer for Snyder & Associates Engineers and Planners and is the owner and engineer of Schulte Engineering & Consulting, LLC. He also previously served on the planning and zoning commission for the City of Platte City. Schulte honorably served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, earning the rank of sergeant, and later retired from the Missouri Army National Guard as a master sergeant. He holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology
